Elaine Kappattil is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to represent the Miss PYL organization as Miss Canyon Hills Teen 2025. This year, she was honored to be named First Runner-Up at Miss California’s Teen 2025, and proudly brought home the titles of Miss Congeniality Teen California 2025 and Miss Hostess Teen California 2025. Elaine cherished meeting so many inspiring women from across California and forming lasting friendships along the way.
She is going to be a student at the University of California, Riverside, majoring in Bioengineering. With her degree, Elaine aspires to pursue research that positively impacts lives, as well as fulfill her dream of becoming a pediatrician.
Elaine’s community service initiative, Helping Hands, focuses on providing basic needs to both people and animals in need. Through this initiative, she aims to educate, inspire, and connect with others about the importance of fulfilling basic needs.
In her free time, Elaine enjoys spending time with family and friends, baking, traveling, singing, and dancing. One of her greatest passions is Bharatanatyam, a classical Indian dance form she has been learning for the past 14 years. Sharing this art form brings her immense joy, and she actively teaches both children and adults in her community.
A passionate learner, Elaine loves exploring new skills and ideas. She has learned to play three musical instruments—the violin, piano, and ukulele—and finds joy in expressing herself through music. In high school, she was a dedicated member of the Varsity badminton team. She also participated in Advanced Choir, where the group earned several national awards. Elaine also held multiple leadership roles in various student clubs.
Elaine was honored with the title of Kalathilakam at the FOMAA National Convention in the USA, where she was also named First Runner-Up for Miss FOMAA USA.
Elaine is deeply honored to serve her community through the Miss PYL Program and is excited for all that the rest of this memorable year has in store!
