Mary Kohaut is honored to serve as Miss Placentia 2025 and proudly represent the city she calls home. A graduate of California State University, Fullerton with a degree in Business Marketing, Mary has competed in the Miss California Organization for several years and is passionate about the personal growth, service, and sisterhood it fosters.

As a vocalist, Mary showcases her love for the performing arts through her talent performance—a soulful rendition of the classic song “Feeling Good.”

Mary’s Community Service Initiative, Operation Thank You, was inspired by her brother’s service in the U.S. Army. Witnessing his dedication to our country sparked her mission to honor those who serve. Operation Thank You is a letter-writing campaign dedicated to supporting our Military and First Responders with heartfelt messages of appreciation. Through her website, Operation-ThankYou.org, Mary has created a space where anyone can take a moment to say “thank you” and make a meaningful impact.
