Talent: Piano Performance of White Water Chopsticks

As Miss Placentia 2026, Ashley is honored to represent a program rooted in scholarship, service, style, and success. Grateful to once again be part of the Miss PYL family, she embraces this year with passion, purpose, and a heart for community impact.

A third-year student at the University of California, Berkeley, she will graduate early this fall with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in History. She plans to attend law school in Southern California, where she hopes to continue her commitment to civic leadership and public service.

Her talent is classical piano, and she performs “Whitewater Chopsticks” by Calvin Jones, a dynamic and expressive piece that highlights both technical precision and artistry.

Her Community Service Initiative, Voice to Action: Increasing Civic Engagement and Voter Turnout, focuses on empowering young people to become informed, engaged citizens. She has partnered with Giving Children Hope to support food distributions and provide essential hygiene and home goods to vulnerable families across Southern California. Through her podcast and online platforms, she promotes youth voter participation, volunteerism, and awareness of the Miss America Opportunity. During her year of service, she will speak to thousands of students throughout PYLUSD, inspiring the next generation to lead with integrity and become changemakers in their communities.
