Michaela Watson is honored to serve as Miss Yorba Linda’s Teen, proudly continuing a legacy that began when her mother held the title of Miss Placentia in 1992. A Southern California native with big dreams and an even bigger heart, Michaela is the youngest of four sisters and shares her home with three beloved girl German Shepherds.

Michaela’s passion for animals led her to volunteer with German Shepherd Rescue of Orange Countg, where she combines her love for dogs and baking by donating homemade treats to help raise funds for the organization. She continues her love of baking throughout family traditions like their Apple Pie Conest at Thanksgiving. Her love for science — especially chemistry — fuels her dream of pursuing a career in cosmetic chemistry or the beauty & fashion industry where she hopes to blend beauty and innovation.

Whether she’s baking cupcakes, doing science experiments, or spending the day at Disneyland, Michaela embraces every moment with joy, curiosity, and a heart for service. She looks forward to attending college on the East Coast and is excited to use the Miss America’s Teen opportunity to advocate for inclusion, celebrate community, and inspire young girls to lead with kindness and confidence.
