Former Miss Titleholders

Her Story, Our Legacy

In 1965, Miss Placentia Sharon Cooper Killeen embodied the spirit of community connection and celebration. She played a special role in the city’s First Annual Placentia Heritage Day Festival, helping mark the beginning of a tradition that continues to bring the community together today. From representing Placentia at local events to engaging with residents of all ages, her year reflects the heart of our program—service, visibility, and pride in our city. These moments offer a glimpse into the early years of our organization and the lasting impact of those who wore the crown before us.

Today, we proudly continue this tradition of service and community presence by participating in events throughout Placentia and Yorba Linda, including the Annual Heritage Day Parade. What once was represented by a single titleholder has grown into a dynamic group of six titleholders, alongside our dedicated court members and Little Sisters. Together, they serve as ambassadors for our cities — engaging with residents, inspiring the next generation, and bringing awareness to both our local program and the Miss America Organization. While our program has evolved, our purpose remains the same: to serve, represent, and carry forward a legacy that continues to grow with each generation.
